SALLY MONTAGUE HAIR GROUP AT LONDON FASHION WEEK, TOPSHOP UNIQUE, SPRING SUMMER 2015.
Two Sally Montague Hair Group Art Team members, Deesh Dhindsa and Hannah Cobb, from the Duffield and The Old Hall salons respectively, proved their crafting credentials when they were invited to assist L’Oréal Professionnel backstage at the highly anticipated Topshop Unique show at this season’s London Fashion Week
Held at the Topshop Show Space, London, the dynamic duo, headed up by hairdressing hero, Anthony Turner for L’Oréal Professionnel, crafted styles to complement the SS15 collection.
The show took inspiration from historical looks worn in British coastal towns, opening with an array of sporty slogan-printed jumpers teamed with plain pencil skirts, frivolous girly frills, stripes and sparkles. Evening wear was delicate and sheer with 20s inspired beading and ruffled hemlines, once seen skimming the floors of Blackpool’s ballrooms.

Following a light spray of Tecni.ART Pli, Wild Stylers Beach Wave was applied with fingers to create a fluffy, rolled-in texture throughout the lengths. The hair was then loosely parted and swept back, before being tucked behind the ears and Fresh Dust added to mattify. The sporty low side-part and a toughened-up, unkempt texture made matte with Tecni.ART Texture Dust dry shampoo emerged into the spotlight of a show that captured the international headlines thanks to top models taking their turn on the runway.
