Initial Training & Apprenticeships

If you are selected to join the Sally Montague Team you will immediately be signed up to do your NVQ levels 1 and 2 by our local learning skills provider representative so that you can start your training straight away. Following your initial salon induction and skills assessment your individual training plan will be developed and you will be on the first step in your career! Your NVQs will cover everything from shampooing to advanced cutting and colouring skills and you can expect to complete your NVQ level 2 within 2 years depending on your enthusiasm and abilities and we will support and tailor your training to your individual needs. As a technician on a working salon floor you will not only be learning during your designated training sessions but also every day from your colleagues, trainer and senior members of staff. You can expect to learn everything in your training plan and more, such as client etiquette, customer services, retail sales and many more Sally Montague qualities that will set you apart from the rest!
