Sally Montague Styles at Clothes Show
The National Exhibition Centre was full to capacity again this year with young people determined to purchase the latest fashions at the recent Clotheshow Live in Birmingham. It was a clothes shopper's heaven, with acres of stands featuring hundreds of well known brands from casual wear to designer wear, and all the latest fashion accessories.
The Sally Montague Artistic Team were invited by L'Oréal Professionnel to style the hair for the Designer Stage. For the fourth year running, and invited back by popular demand, the hair team worked with the Fashion Editor of the Daily Telegraph, Hilary Alexander who hosted the catwalk shows.
They had a busy week styling the models for both the Designers Shows which featured outfits from a wide selection of well known designers such as Buddist Punk, Kenzo, Betty Jackson, Antoni & Alison, Alexander McQueen, Tristan Webber, Christian Lacroix, Manish Aurora, Giles, Christopher Kane, Eavis + Brown, and also the College Shows featuring creative designs by future designers.
They created soft wearable looks with the hair left down or gathered into a loose ponytail worn to one side. The team included Samantha Protheroe, Nichole Thompson, Charlotte Ward, Angel Sayers, Stacey Dexter, Lindsey Bullock, Vicky Wood, Ashley Buxton, Lizzie Fox, Dayna Cooney, Jo Hyde, Robin Smith and Nichola Townsend. "We love being part of this huge event and it is a great chance to see a wide selection of designer outfits up close, and working with someone like Hilary is a great honour" said Jo Hyde.
