Pink Ball raises over £6,000 for charity
In October 2006 the Sally Montague team hosted their second annual 'Tickled Pink Ball' to raise funds for breast cancer. It was a fantastic evening enjoyed by over 300 guests including friends and family of the team and a guest table for sponsors of the event L'Oréal team from London.
There was a photographer in the foyer taking photos for guests as they came into the venue who donated his time kindly for us, and a lot of people were able to take home lovely souvenirs of their evening.
The evening kicked off with a next season prediction fashion show by the Sally Montague Artistic team headed up by Stacey Dexter. They had a team of fantastic models who all kindly volunteered their time for charity and who looked fabulous after being made over by the artistic members. Following the 3-course meal a raffle was drawn then a comedic auction hosted by friend of the salon Richard Beavers. Between these events was entertainment by The Big Swing band who played fantastic tunes in the style of old classic swing Sinatra style music.
With fabulous prizes donated by our wonderful friends, generous colleagues and local business supporters the raffle and auction went down a storm. Combined with the tickets the team managed to raise over £6,000.00 for their chosen charity and would like to thank all supporters for their generosity and kindness.
