Talent Spotting Success

Congratulations to Stacey Dexter and team, Charlotte Ward and Vicky Wood for their success so far in this prestigious national competition. Every year L'Oréal hosts a nationwide search for 'the next big thing' in hairdressing. Stacey has enjoyed success in the past getting through to the regional finals of the L'Oréal Colour Trophy national competition last year but this is the first time she has entered this competition. The first step is to get through from hundreds of entries to the regional finals where she received the good news a few weeks ago. The regional finals were scheduled for Monday 24th September in Manchester and the whole Sally Montague team went along to support them. Stacey had to stand up and perform a live haircut demonstration and presentation to an audience of hundreds and a panel of judges. Overcoming her understandable nerves Stacey performed fantastically and walked away the overall and outright winner. A team member Jo Hyde, who was in the audience said "Stacey and the girls were amazing, she had the most impact from those on stage and she definitely drew attention with her entrance. After nervously stumbling her words to begin with she bought it back brilliantly. Her models were fantastic and her theme 'new rave' will definatley be here in the near future". With that impressive win under her belt Stacey has now secured her place in the Grand Final competition in London on Monday 12th November, so fingers crossed for Stacey and Good Luck...
