Iron Gate Salon
The Iron Gate salon has been established for ten years now. Previously the premises was an antique shop and so the conversion from that into a salon was quite something and an exciting transformation headed up by Sally herself with her usual hands on approach and creative flair!
The salon has had a couple of facelifts over this period, most recently being in January 2007 when we had to close for repairs to the roof. As one of the oldest buildings in the city, it is protected by stringent grade II listing regulations and that is why it is such an original salon with so many of the original features still present giving the salon a unique authentic blend of old and new using character and technology to add ambiance and atmosphere which our clients love.
With the recent addition of Claire Elizabeth Beauty installed in their own private treatment room within the salon, our Irongate clients can now also enjoy all the luxuries of pampering with a full menu of beauty treatments under one roof! With treatments ranging from manicures to massages, hair and makeup there really is no need to go anywhere else to look so good!
